Formed in September 1996 by Sally Haines and Kirsty Aitken, Travel Network SA is a full service Tour Operator, linked to the Global Galileo Reservations System. Their company has always been dedicated to the needs of the Leisure market and it has built a reputation through a very focused approach and on the highest standards of service excellence and professionalism.

Their staff are experienced, creative and above all enthusiastic. These qualities, combined with some of the most sophisticated computer systems available in the industry, help them to give their clients a truly effective service.

Sally and Kirsty's combined 22 years of involvement in South African tourism ventures and activities makes them the best when it comes to designing unique personalised adventure packages for special interest groups and other clients.

Sally has been in the travel business for more than 10 years and her experience lies in the area of South African based marketing and promotions for suppliers and properties in Cape Town, designing detailed travel programmes for individual clients travelling locally and regionally such as Kenya , Tanzania , Mozambique, Zimbabwe and South Africa to name but a few. She has built up a formidable portfolio of venues and suppliers over the years which enables her to source the best deals and the finest suppliers for her clients.

Kirsty has over 12 years of experience in the travel industry. Her responsibilities have varied from travel reservations, consulting, sales, marketing, incentives and function coordinating, including training on the latter. She has been responsible for co-ordinating functions varying from 10 – 1000 people for corporate clients such as Shell, Engen, Old Mutual, Warner Lambert, Medical Technologists Convention and many more. Kirsty has assisted many companies with implementing staff incentive schemes on various levels which has necessitated travel to over 100 cities.

Both Kirsty & Sally are keen golfers. Kirsty has been lucky enough to play all the major courses in South Africa (including the Sun City Courses, Leopard Creek, Hans Merensky, Humewood, Fancourt, Penzula etc …) and has played renowned International courses in the UK (Wentworth), Hawaii, Canada, America, Argentina, Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Dubai.
