Ballooning is the oldest form of manned flight as well as the safest form of flight.

Today the balloon is a magical slow moving platform from which to view the world. It’s probably not unlike being on a flying carpet (that’s assuming everyone knows what flying carpets are like to fly!)

Given the wonderful climate and clear sunny skies, then Ballooning is viable almost anywhere but obviously more appropriate to areas where there are spectacular views. This certainly applies to the Eastern escarpment where the canyons and hills provide vivid and lasting impressions of beauty.

In all cases there are particular requirements regarding these flights, which last between 1 and 2 hours. Height, age and health criteria need to be met, but in general 90% of all adventurers will automatically qualify. Most flights are in the early morning or late afternoon and are followed by cracking open the champagne.
